About

A cleaning company run like a building's night shift.

Newsome Building Services cleans offices in Dallas at night, with a crew of about 60 and five people you'll hear from. We write the sheet before we start, and the supervisor's initials are on it every shift.

  • About 60 on the crew

  • Two night supervisors and a day line

  • English and Spanish, on the crew and on the line

The team

Five names, and what each one answers for.

Everyone here has an office or night-line number.

  • Pearlie Newsome

    President

Signs every contract and reads the monthly inspection notes herself. When a manager is unhappy, her number is the one on the last page of the sheet.

  • Evelio Esquivel

    Operations manager

Builds the nightly routes and orders supplies. Speaks English and Spanish, and answers the office line during the day.

  • Dariana Cerrato

Night supervisor, Downtown, Uptown and Oak Lawn

Walks each building at the start and the end of the shift and initials the sheet. Speaks English and Spanish.

  • Yen Do

Night supervisor, Lake Highlands, Addison and Allen

Runs the northern routes and the supply truck. Speaks English and Vietnamese; her crews have a Spanish-speaking lead.

  • Hortencia Partida

    Crew hiring and training

Talks with every applicant, in English or Spanish, and runs the first-week training. Speaks English and Spanish.

Two languages

Languages on the crew.

  • English and Spanish

Three of the five people above speak both. Every route has a Spanish-speaking lead, and so does every training session.

  • For your office

The sheet, the quote and the policies are printed in English and in Spanish, if your building's staff would rather read it in Spanish.

  • For the crew

Applications, interviews and the first-week training are in both languages. The careers page is in Spanish too.

How

How we work.

  1. 01

Step 1: Write it down first

No crew starts until the sheet is agreed. If something changes, the sheet changes first.

  2. 02

Step 2: A name on every route

A supervisor is always named, and the night line reaches the supervisor on duty.

  3. 03

Step 3: Fix it the same night

If something is missed and a crew is still in the building, it's fixed that night.

Where the crews go

Dallas, and the offices along the North Central corridor.

Most routes are Downtown, Uptown and the Design District, with a northern run through Addison, Lake Highlands and Allen.

  • Dallas County: Downtown Dallas, Uptown, Oak Lawn, Design District, Deep Ellum, Preston Hollow, Highland Park, University Park, Addison, Farmers Branch, Lake Highlands, Lakewood, Rowlett · Most routes. High-rises need the freight dock and elevator booked.
  • Collin County: Allen, McKinney, Wylie, Murphy · Run by the northern supervisor, Monday to Friday nights.

We don't take buildings in Tarrant County, south of I-20 or east of Rockwall.
