Floors and carpet
Floors that stay ahead of the traffic.
Nightly vacuuming and mopping keep daily wear down. Deeper work, extraction on carpet and scrubbing and recoating on hard floors, is scheduled on weekend nights and quoted by the area.

A project
How a floor project goes.
- 01
Step 1: Test and measure
The supervisor walks the area with you and tests a small spot before anything is quoted.
- 02
Step 2: Clear the area
You clear desks and boxes; we don't move furniture or heavy equipment.
- 03
Step 3: Work on a weekend night
Floor projects go on the weekend so the building is empty and the floor has the most time to dry.
- 04
Step 4: Dry and reopen
The supervisor tells you when the floor can take traffic and leaves signs where it can't.
- 05
Step 5: Initial the sheet
The project goes on the sheet with its date, so the next one is scheduled from it.
Questions about floors.
How long until the carpet is dry?
Low-moisture methods are usually walkable the same night. Hot-water extraction can take longer, and the supervisor gives you the time before starting.
Do you strip and wax?
Hard floors are scrubbed and recoated by the area. Stripping old finish off is a bigger job, and it's quoted on its own.
Can the work happen during the week?
Small spots, yes. Whole areas are scheduled on weekends, when the building is empty.
