The office year

Periodic work, by season.

Judgment, not a promise: the supervisor sets the dates with you.

  • January and February

Offices restart after the holidays. A good time for carpet extraction while desks are still light.

  • March to May

Tax season fills accounting offices with paper, and spring pollen and rain come in on shoes. Entry mats and lobby floors get an extra line.

  • June to August

Hard floors are scrubbed and recoated while buildings are quiet and the heat helps them dry. School and church buildings are booked early.

  • September to December

Carpet extraction before the holiday parties, and a deep pass through break rooms before year-end.
